'Toddlers & Tiaras': The Craziest Pageant Mom Ever (VIDEO)

Toddlers And Tiaras

Between giving their 4-year-olds fake breasts and padding for their Dolly Parton costumes and dressing up their 3-year-olds as Julia Roberts in the opening scene of the film "Pretty Woman" -- you know, the movie where she plays a prostitute -- the pageant moms featured on TLC's hit "Toddlers & Tiaras" are just plain crazy. But perhaps none of the moms are as crazy as Marlo, a self-described "insane pageant mom."

And we don't think she was joking.

Marlo's 10-year-old daughter Sydney is vying for the Ultimate Grand Supreme title, but it's Marlo who steals the spotlight. Poor Sydney -- her mom truly takes crazy pageant mom to an all-new level.

It seems like every episode of "Toddlers & Tiaras" gets even crazier than the last, and with only two episodes left in the season, we're sure TLC saved the best (i.e. craziest) for last.

The new episode of "Toddlers & Tiaras" airs tonight at 10/9c on TLC.

Do you all not realize that what you see on TV is not all that these kids do?? They are normal kids outside of the ballroom. They play with their friends, go swimming, go to the mall etc.. This is one tiny part of their lives. My daughter has been doing pageants for over 11 years and is a straight A student in all honors classes. She is popular , funnny and beyond caring to everyone she comes across. Dont judge us or our kids by a one hour show.

You miss the point completely. The problem is you: living out your neurotic fantasies through an innocent child. I feel sorry for both of you.

LOL ok if you say so.. You do not know anything about us or what my daughter does. She loves being on stage and asks all the time when she can do another pageant. And Let me just say that in the last 3 weeks she has won $6000.00 for her college fund through the pageants. So while my daughter is doing what she loves and making money for herself, you go ahead and sit on your fat A** doing nothing but complain.

This was the first mom on the series who DIDN'T scare me. She was totally joking the whole time. Her self-deprecating humor was actually funny. And her kid really does have talent. Did you watch her daughter in her cheerleading lessons. This kid is going to be a pro someday. She was also gracious and a real sportswoman. They were the first family group who actually had fun with the whole pageant thing.

I've seen the promos for this show and they are enough to convince me never to see the program. Has anyone else noticed how many of the mothers are frumpy and unattractive? They would be better off using the makeup, hairstyling and sexy clothing themselves rather than encouraging their daughters to grow up too soon and too sexy.

Great - take your medication and get into therapy and for God's sake, someone take this poor child away from her!!

I 100% disagree with you on your article. This is the first show I thought the mom was joking and just having a good time. It seems to me Sidney truly enjoys pageants and that she is very well raised. If you watched the entire show you would have seen her comment at the end. I loved Sidney's explanation at the end of the show as to why she didn't get the ultimate. "It was someone elses turn and I am okay with that". She sounds like a good kid. She is older too so maybe some of the moms with screaming kids should take a lesson and wait until their children are old enough to request to be in pageants vs forcing them. jmo

... And you thought Hollywood husbands were delicate enough to kill themselves over a TV show.... thanks, TLC, for upping the blood bath ante.

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned...
