Eric Schneiderman & Beau Biden

Changed the game by: Investigating mortgage irregularities.

When the Obama administration proposed a wide-ranging state settlement with banks over dubious foreclosure practices, it needed approval from the attorney general's office in all 50 states. New York AG Eric Schneiderman spoke up, arguing that the settlement would give big banks a get-out-of-jail free card before his office could even beging to investigate and prosecute those who decimated our financial system. Soon after, Beau Biden, Attorney General of Delaware, chimed in with reservations as well. "The events leading up to the mortgage crisis must be fully investigated, including origination and securitization practices, before any broad immunity is granted," he said. "The American people deserve an investigation." Pressure from the quick-let's-settle-and-forget-it-all contingent has remained strong. In August, Schneiderman was removed from a committee of state attorneys general investigating robo-signing and mortgage abuses. Biden once again defended him, and the two have formed a coalition of prosecutors ready to take on the big banks. Schneiderman and Biden are doing what Attorney Generals are supposed to do -- pursuing corruption, not rewarding it.

Let it roll: Schneiderman's stubborn stance is causing a snowball effect. Minnesota AG Lori Swanson and Massachusetts AG Martha Coakley have voiced support for investigation as well, and now Nevada's attorney general, Catherine Cortez Masto, is filing a lawsuit against Bank of America.

The person who should be the political game changer is anyone willing to require the all politicians are elected constitutionally per Article 1 & Amendments 12 & 17 as follows.

Each state DRAFT presidential and vice candidates, elects one each, certify them to congress for recounting and notifying the nation of the possible 51 candidates for November's General Election, congress breaks any ties of 3 or less and another voting if more. Each Congressional District will DRAFT and elect both representatives and senators. All state elections are to follow that same pattern per Article 6. Thus no person names themselves as candidates, no parties, no campaigning, no contributions & no conventions [for presidents] eliminating the means for corporations to control any governmental officials.

All people DRAFTED for president will know their responsibility is to ensure the constitution is faithfully executed (Article 2, section 3) and all oaths to protect the constitution will include "WITH MY LIFE" so if they are approached by corporations they must refuse their appeals.

I don't see anyone among those candidates fulfilling that requirement changing the political game into a constitutional one.

Given the tremendous amount of fears you have on the right that is quite an accomplishment. You may need to move out of the country when he is re-elected or suffer a stroke due to anxiety.

Elizabeth Warren isn't on your list.

Wow, that's so yesterday. She's gonna be the political game changer of the Century, when she's elected, and will tell the American People like it is, not posture.

She will point out the liars and backroom dealers to the teapotty and they will turn their pitchforks for common sense for the little guy once again.

Game changer?
YOU BETCHA!!

Mohamed Bouazizi, the Tunisian man who set himself on fire to protest the Tunisian government sparking riots and protests that toppled regimes across the Arab world, is the number one game changer. No other one person changed anything nearly as much.

Yes he started the Arab Spring. I was talking about in our country, not the worldwide political scene.

We started this Democracy thingy, and WE the People aim to keep it for the People, ALL PEOPLE.
NO small exclusionary tent for the American people, just justice for all and liberty from the tyrannical corporate crooks kicking the legs out from under the families who fought and died to keep it free from facism.
See you at OWS and ODC.
Keep em coming.

It's regular Americans. Fed up with the status quo of the government working only for the wealthy and not for the people, Americans are gathering (with the organization of MoveOn, Van Jones, Tea Party, OccupyWallSt and more) en masse to say we're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore.
