Chris Hayes Dances And Rehearses For New MSNBC Show 'Up' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Chris Hayes Dances And Rehearses For His New Show

On Thursday, MSNBC offered a peek into the rehearsal for its newest show, "Up with Chris Hayes," which debuts on Saturday morning at 7 AM ET.

The 11-minute, rather freewheeling clip shows Hayes -- who was Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell's main fill-in before being tapped for his own program -- doing a mock segment with a panel of guests. Initially, it also teases the viewer into thinking that this will be a hip-hop-and-fist-pumping related show, as Hayes plays one and does the other for a couple minutes. (This is basically our favorite part of this clip, because it makes us picture Maddow warming up to, say, crazy death metal, or Chris Matthews banishing everyone from the office while he blasts Frank Sinatra.)

The whole thing takes place in what looks like a conference room deep in the bowels of 30 Rock. (The actual show, of course, will be on a snazzy looking studio set.) It's intriguing to see the mass of cameras and wires and people all clustered around Chris Hayes sitting at a nondescript table and reading New York Times headlines off of his laptop--just a taste of what's to come. The panel segment seems to go off without a hitch, too.
