Well, that's one way to introduce yourself.
During a NAIA football game between University of the Cumberlands and University of Virgina-Wise, Drew Yeargin of Cumberlands laid out UVA running back Ryan Bouldin as he was reaching out and attempting to catch a swing pass.
Suffice to say, Bouldin never got control of that ball.
Opinions may differ on the legality of Yeargin's tackling technique, but there is no doubting his effectiveness. Did he turn slightly to go shoulder-first into the tackle? Or did he lead with his helmet?
Objectively speaking, this was likely the biggest hit on record since Spike trampled over the little kid that dressed like a Cowboy in the movie "Little Giants."
Yeargin also notched an interception during what would eventually be a 42-13Cumberlands victory.
