Eva Longoria Talks Divorce On 'Ellen'

Eva Longoria opened up about her divorce from NBA star Tony Parker on "Ellen" Thursday.

"I think divorce agrees with me," Longoria said when DeGeneres pointed out her "glow." The actress added, "Everyone keeps telling me, 'You've never looked better.'"

The "Desperate Housewives" star split from her ex-husband last year after she allegedly found text messages from another woman on his phone. Longoria told DeGeneres she doesn't speak to Parker anymore.

"Being a woman, I realized you cannot identify yourself through a man, or through a marriage," Longoria said. "[Women are] socially constructed that way, to just be inferior or subservient, and you don't have to be."

When prodded about her love life, Longoria simply responded, "I'm happy." She is dating Eduardo Cruz, Penelope Cruz's younger brother, and is rumored to be engaged.

Eva will be a perpetual divorcee. She would be married to Eduardo like yesterday if he let it happen. Eva needs to be involved and then married. She is mortified that Parker actually went out on her. She has to say she is happy. She can't be to great a partner. This will be no.4. All good looking young guy's.
