'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Lisa Vanderpump is simplifying her life. Case in point: now that her children are all grown up and out of the house (one is already married), she's decided that she no longer needs a 17,000 square foot French chateau.
Now that it's just her, husband Ken Todd, and their four little dogs, the Vanderpumps have decamped to a much more modest 10,000 square foot home in Beverly Hills, reports Zillow.com. Priced at around $12 million, their little downsize is nothing to sneeze at, but let's be real.
We know that the Vanderpumps are going to miss their opulent, Richard Landry-designed mansion, a tennis court, pool and spa, two acres of landscaped grounds, and all the memories. Luckily, thanks to the two seasons of 'Housewives,' she'll have a permanent reel of all her favorite moments in the home.
The Vanderpumps won't confirm the final sale price of their home, but RadarOnline.com is reporting that it sold for $19 million -- $10 million short of the pocket-listed price, notes Zillow. Even thought that seems like a big hit, it's really all pure profit; The RealEstalker notes that the home was bought in 2004 for $14 million.
