Lawrence O'Donnell: Joe Walsh Is 'Deadbeat Dad Congressman' Over Back Child Support (VIDEO)

Lawrence O'Donnell tore into Congressman Joe Walsh for continuing to not pay child support on Thursday's "Last Word," reiterating his ban on the congressman and asking other programs to do the same.

O'Donnell first banned Walsh from his show in July, after revelations that the Illinois Republican and Tea Party favorite owes more than $100,000 in back child support to his ex-wife Laura Walsh for their three children. On Wednesday, Walsh failed to show up for a court hearing to provide proof of payment.

On Thursday, a seething O'Donnell denounced Walsh as a "deadbeat dad Congressman" and a "disgrace" to the House of Representatives and the Republican Party. He revealed that the congressman had missed a child support hearing for a vote that Republicans won by a landslide, and where Walsh had simply voted "present" anyway. He said that paying child support was a serious matter that "is in fact more important than being a congressman."

The MSNBC found it equally revolting that one of Walsh's excuses for missing his hearing was that he had to make media appearances. He reiterated his one rule for guests: "I don't allow anyone to come on this show unless and until they pay their child support obligations in full," and asked other programs to do the same.

Gov Sanford DESERTED his duties as Commander in chief of the South Carolina National guard---Left the country--to have a physical AFFAIR with a FOREIGN REPORTER in her HOME LAND---because he was a REPUBLICAN-United States Senator Lindsey Graham said "If his wife forgives him so should the people of South Carolina"..if Sanford was a DEM...he would of said.." He should AUTOMATICALLY lose his security clearance, investigated for espionage, and FORCED to RESIGN that day, not be allowed next to his computer, not allowed back in the building, what did he say to HEr about South Carolina military movements and training".

Okay - lets stipulate that Joe Walsh is a hypocrite and deadbeat ( I never claimed otherwise ) - but it seems to me that Larry O keeps pulling the Joe Walsh story out of his hat ( this is the third or fourth time he's spent time on air discussing this bit player ) whenever he doesn't want to address actual current problems - like why it's costing you and me $ 5.4 Million per job to create so called Green jobs under Obama's Lemming Capitalism / Crony Capitalism dictats by top down central planners who think they can pick winners. They wouldn't know a cash flow statement from a "Five Year Plan"

If you do some searching on the internet as I did that “the Energy Department during the Bush administration rejected more than 100 other applications while inviting Solyndra and 15 other companies to continue their applications. The Obama administration ultimately approved the Solyndra loan guarantee on the exact schedule that had been developed during the Bush administration.” There is your solar gate. You want it to be Obamagate, but it may turn out to actually be Bushgate. If you want to go for some big money, how about the plane loads of $100 bills in the amount of several billion dollars that disappeared in Iraq also during the Bush administration. Since I am sure that the House will not be able to do an even handed investigation, it will probably have to be up to the Senate to get the whole story.
