A year after being upset by friend Kyra Sedgewick, Julianna Margulies took home the big prize at the Emmys on Sunday.
Just like her role as a lawyer overcoming her husband's affair, it wasn't an easy path. She had to fight off "Mad Men" star Elizabeth Moss in her strongest season, sentimental favorite Connie Britton of "Friday Night Lights," as well as newcomer Mireille Enos for her chilling role in "The Killing," and Mariska Hargitay ("Law and Order: SVU") and Kathy Bates (Harry's Law), who also got recognized for their work.
