Script For John Gotti Biopic Being Kept Secret: Studios Release Three Decoy Scripts

While all secrets may be coming out in the John Gotti biopic, for now, they're just setting rat traps.

According to Radar, the final script for "Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father" is being kept so hush-hush that the studios have created decoys.

"Fiore Films put out about three decoy scripts after it became apparent people were trying to get the actual Barry Levinson script. Fiore Films circulated dummy scripts after several failed attempts by media and others to get an unauthorized look at the script."

The film stars John Travolta as the famed mob boss alongside his real life wife, Kelly Preston, who will play Victoria Gotti. Al Pacino will be lending the film some Mafioso street cred as the consigliere to Carlo Gambino.

Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2012 on location in New York City .

I just hope the final script for this movie will not be glorifying the life of Gotti. He is not someone to admire and was responsible for the ordering of murders carried out by his henchmen.
