Hope Solo has traded in her soccer cleats for a pair of stilettos.
Last week, Solo was serenaded by C.J. Sapong of Sporting Kansas City. This week it was the U.S. Women's World Cup star who was trying to win over a skeptical crowd as she appeared on the ABC hit show Dancing With The Stars.
Solo, while faring better than fellow athlete Ron Artest, still scored a mediocre 21 points in her debut, receiving mixed reactions from the judges who chastised her for being stiff but admitted that she had potential.
While the judges were quick to notice her footwork and intricate motions, we found it curious that nobody bothered to ask Solo where the back of her outfit went.
The world-class goalkeeper, and budding celebrity, can now add the hit show to a slew of other media credits she's earned since the conclusion of the World Cup, which includes an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. If Solo is going to appear nude in ESPN The Magazine's famed 'Body Issue.'as she hinted on Twitter then her popularity should continue to rise even if she falls off of Stars.
