Courtney Stodden Signs Deal For Reality Show With Merv Griffin Entertainment

Is the world ready for a reality show starring teen bride Courtney Stodden?

We better get ready because 17-year-old Stodden just inked a deal with Merv Griffin Entertainment to produce her new reality show, reports RadarOnline.

The blonde bride who made headlines when she married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison in June, told the website, "We are so excited to be working with Roy Bank, a great professional in this business. We are proud that we were able to find the perfect producer for our reality show an are thrilled to be working with this prestigious production company."

Ever since news of the couple's marriage broke, the two have been defending their love for one another. With Stodden's obvious obsession with fame, it surprised no one when the couple began talking about developing a reality show last month.

Hutchison told Australia's "The Morning Show," that they had been "seduced by a lot of producers wanting to do a reality TV show," and they were currently negotiating with a prominent producer.

Stodden weighed in proclaiming that "It's going to be a reality show like no other."

Age is not just a number. If you're 37 and he's 42, then yeah, age IS just a number. If you're 27 and he's 31, then yeah... Age is just a number. If you're 41 and he's 55, then age is still just a number... But if you're 16 and he's 50, then age is NOT just a number. If you're 20 and he's 60, age is NOT just a number. Just my opinion...

This girl needs to show some ID cause I don't think she is anywhere close to 17 years old! Don't be a hater of the man I mean really just look at her if she is 17 she is an old soul as she looks much much more older. I am just saying look at the picture nothing wrong with it. Except I guess people just need to ask for ID's before they hook up!

Some are upset cause she is a minor and still developing. Yet some guys are wondering where can they get a girl like that. It gives hope to those guys who want that dynamics when everyone else says it can't happen..

Just think her parents are happy that he treats her well and that she will be taken care of. Probably glad he is marrying her instead of just living together. I wonder if she changed her look or is wearing a lot of makeup so that the age difference wouldn't be so noticeable.

No,I think most people here are just sick of how seemingly any talentless,vapid person can become famous for doing absolutely nothing and have a 'reality' show,which is the last thing our dumbed-down society needs.I don't for one minute believe she's a minor,but if she is,isn't it downright warped for a 16-year-old to marry a 51-year-old?

Come on,...There isnt a woman or a young girl out there that has'nt used her looks or her body to get her somewhere or someplace. They do use their mind , but not in the same way. And you know ladies, what im talking about. She didn't invent this. But i get a kick out of all the woman who comment about her saying..." i cant belive her !! I actually like to engage in a healthy relationship with someone who is not 1) a child, and 2) not on drugs. Clearly your standards are not so high. If you are jealous then I am sad for you, and wonder how horrid your life must be that this "woman" is someone you would like to be with.
