First Posted: 09/21/11 12:52 PM ET   Updated: 11/21/11 05:12 AM ET

What would you ask President Obama?

Would you ask him about the proposed Jobs Act and whether it will put Hispanic laborers and professionals back to work? Support for small businesses, the lifeblood of so many Latino communities across the country? His take on the state of the American Dream? Want to recognize Hispanic Heritage Month and quiz him on his knowledge of Latino culture?

Here’s your chance.

At 11:25AM EST, on Wednesday, September 28th, President Obama will address questions from Latinos across the country at 'Open For Questions With President Obama', a live webcast direct from the White House Map Room.

During this roundtable, AOL Latino and HuffPost LatinoVoices will present a selection of questions from our users to the president. But we need your help in creating the questions, which can be about anything of relevance to U.S. Hispanics: the economy, health care, education, immigration reform, jobs...

You can submit your question in any of the following ways:

  • Leave a comment on this very page
  • Send a tweet using #AskObama hashtag
  • Send an email to AskObama@HuffingtonPost.com

Please be sure to include your first name, city and state with your submission.

Do you appreciate that many Americans are disgusted by the fact that you have surrounded yourself with the likes of Geithner, Summers, Immelt, Daley- Alan Simpson to the "cat food commision"-
What part of the CHANGE you were elected to bring about do these appointments provide specifically?

Horacio, Los Angeles, CA. Presidents Obama, pre-college programs like Upward Bound, a TRIO program under the Dept. of Education are a vital asset to Latinos and other low-income students across this country. You have asked for a $67M increase for TRIO in your FY 2012 budget. Congress has undermined your proposal, how will you ensure that TRIO students continue to be served and your FY 2012 request will be approved by Congress?

Is anyone focusing on the VISA process/standards to be able to come to our country legally? OR adjust status at less cost. Because it is very difficult for Mexican's to obtain a VISA. Furthermore, once illegal immigrants are here and have established family with an American, the process to adjust status is a very long and expensive one.

President Obama,
Recently, the Administration has been reaching out to the Hispanic community with greater eagerness but it's hard not to see this as shallow efforts.

Town Halls are being conducted again, but other than "listenening" it doesn't seem the input obtained is having any significant impact on your Administration.

Your Administration was successful in getting out $150+ million for Teen Pregnancy Prevention, however, while Hispanics rank among those with the greatest need, LESS THAN FIVE of the more than 100 organizations funded had any history of intnentional efforts of serving Hispanic communities.

In the area of youth mentoring, more than $150 million was distributed through ARRA. Even though Hispanics comprise more than 50% of urban youth, your administration awarded a sginficiant amount of the discretionary funds to very large organizations who publically admit their efforts in Hispanic communities are lagging, while community-based, grass-roots organizations are tirelessly serving Hispanic youth with very little resources.

Yes, you've named some Hispanics as political appointees, but there are too few of them in senior positions fighting a system where they are very much in the minority and without the necessary support from the White House to affect real change.

These are just a few of the many, many examples of disregard for the Hispanic community that exist across the federal government. What can your adminsitration do to require agencies to define funding disparities and then develop measurable, outcome-oriented plan that they are to be held accountable to?

Mr President, How would your prioritize opportunity and benefits between undocumented Latino immigrants currently in the country and Latino immigrants who have been waiting in Mexico for approval for legal entry?

Here's a question Mr Obama;

How bad do things have to get in this country before you will step down to avoid a total implosion of our economy, and loss of goverment function? What responsibility do YOU have if this economic apocalypse should begin?

Why can't black people have this type of forum with you regarding high unemployment in the black community, Mr. President?

With the exception of the questions about plans to resolve the seemingly endless vengeful foreclosures and removing barriers to hiring, these are the most USELESS bunch of questions to offer the President Of The United States in the current state of affairs. Fix the ability of the average legal citizen voter to REMAIN in or BUY a home and fix the ability of the average employer (not everyone can belong to, nor wants to belong to a money grubbing Union.) to hire and then you can ask these other waste of time questions.
