Hey, that movie "Drive" looks pretty cool. It's got that cool guy, Ryan Gosling, driving a cool car, acting all cool, and there's a lot of cool music in the trailer. We bet it's really, really cool.

But much like a house of cards, if you change one thing all that cool just comes tumbling down. Case in point: Sergio Cilli asks, "What if 'Drive' had a shitty soundtrack?"

Guess what? Not. So. Cool.

Also, that line "Hey, that movie "Drive" looks pretty cool. It's got that cool guy, Ryan Gosling, driving a cool car, acting all cool, and there's a lot of cool music in the trailer. We bet it's really, really cool." from the article doesn't do this movie justice at all. The writer is making it sound like just another stupid jason statham movie and it's not even remotely like that.

That's the worst soundtrack you could come up with, really? I think you could do a heck of a lot worse than a song that actually uses the title of the movie in it and one of the hottest songs of the year. Perhaps use the music from another movie with a bad soundtrack or a genre that doesn't at all fit, like kids animation music or a ballet, that would be funny. This attempt though? Not. So. Funny.

Have you seen the articles on here where the guy lists songs for something happening in the news, and instead of thoughtfully choosing them, he only picks ones that have some tenuous connection in the title? That's what this reminded me of. About the same distance from funny and both based on a solid idea.
