Starz Renews 'Boss' Before Premiere, Kelsey Grammer Show Picked Up For A Second Season

Starz puts their money where their mouth is.

According to Variety, before "Boss" has even made its premiere, the network has already renewed the show for a second season.

From the visionary Gus Van Sant, the Starz series follows Kelsey Grammer as a power-hungry mayor, who is trying to hide a deteriorating mental condition.

"The first time we read Farhad's script, we knew we had to make 'Boss,' " said Albrecht. "With each episode, the story grew richer, and the cast continued to turn in breakthrough performances. Led by Kelsey and Farhad, this creative team is giving us dramatic storytelling at its very best. For our viewers, we felt it important to start working on the next season as soon as possible."

"Boss" is premieres October 21 on Starz.

I guess this means we should watch?

I've never understood folks who get so emotionally invested in the lives of people they don't know, have never met and have zero impact on their daily lives. It's a real waste of energy and more then a little neurotic.

If it's good TV, I'll watch. If it's garbage, I won't. It's that simple for me.

Personally, while I abhor his views I have no problem with his behavior. I think the guy is genuinely funny. He makes me laugh, and I don't care how many women he's cheated on.
