Evan Rachel Wood & Ryan Gosling At 'Ides Of March' Premiere: Who Wore It Better? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Evan Rachel Wood has created a distinctive style for herself, wearing sleek menswear-inspired looks on multiple red carpets, including at the Toronto Film Festival this year.

Ryan Gosling, on the other hand, is better known for some unexpected clothing choices, like his pajama ensemble at fancy Cannes Film Festival.

Yet Wood and Gosling go head to head in today's "Who Wore It Better" for a pair of distinctive suits they wore to last night's "Ides of March" premiere: Wood in white, Gosling in green (we swear we didn't plan that alliteration).

The "Ides of March" actress wore tapered white pants and a open white jacket with a black bustier, layered with strands of black and silver jewels.

Gosling donned a moss-colored suit with a striped tie, paired with a killer red carpet pose and his co-star pal George Clooney.

This has got to be the dumbest "who wore it better" contest. They are both gorgeous and look fabulous in their own rite. Why should we have to compare? I think they would look even more amazing together.

They are both gorgeous looking people. I always enjoy seeing how they dress. What guy would wear a green suit and look that great? Ryan Gosling! She always plays up her androgynous side, but she is so beautiful and feminine. I can't wait to see this film!

Boy, I have no respect for men's fashion design. I say nobody in that industry has any imagination, and this is the same old tired concept but recycled to a super-stupid look this season.

So this latest reincarnation of the suit, where everything looks like you bought it two sizes too small? The super-short jackets, the minimal shoulder padding, and leaving the bottom button always unbuttoned as though the thing won't quite fit around you? Yep--Gosling and Clooney look great, but that should be no surprise. But the best I can say for either suit is that I like the stiching on Goselin's lapels. Now imagine how much better they would look if the next reincarnation of men's suits actually involved garments that were flattering.

I wish "BOTH" had been a choice since they both look distinctive and great! Ryan Gosling could wear practically ANYTHING (or nothing...lol) and look fantastic! Evan Rachel Wood is a beautiful girl and this style really "suits" her....although I do wish she would tone it down a tad on the raccoon eye makeup!
