Sarah Brown Talks Fearlessness And What Matters Most At WIE 2011

Philanthropist Sarah Brown, a co-host of this year's WIE Symposium, has devoted much of her adult life to helping other women. She is Patron of The White Ribbon Aliance For Safe Motherhood, a crusade to reduce pregnancy and childbirth mortality rates, and also involved in Maggie's Cancer Care Centre, Wellbeing of Women, Women's Aid and the SHINE Educational Trust.

We caught up with Sarah at WIE, where the fabulous Laura Brown, Features/Special Projects Director of Harper's Bazaar, asked Sarah, wife of former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown, about her fear of public speaking (and why she was determined to become fearless), "making noise" for what she believes in, what is at the center of her life, and her definition of success.
