Kristen Stewart Armored In 'Snow White And The Huntsman' Set Pics (PHOTOS)

"I wasn't initially jumping at the chance [to play Snow White]," Kristen Stewart told Comic-Con this summer. Then, she read the script for "Snow White and the Huntsman," and realized that this was no ordinary princess. Instead, she's a tough girl, bent on revenge. Another selling point, she said, was, "I get to have a sword and stuff."

She wasn't kidding.

Starring in a new take on the fairy tale that sees her team up with would be assassin-turned-mentor Chris Hemsworth to take down Evil Queen Charlize Theron, Stewart has been getting plenty of action-packed acting opportunities. Photos captured on the set of show Stewart in full armor, galloping on a horse along the beach alongside some serious looking soldiers.

there goes another bad movie the only reason it will get any views will be bc of twilight ….. oh well guess i shouldn't judge a book from its cover but i am not paying to watch the movie until i hear some decent feed back

Ok, I am all for empowering women in fairy tales, but to completely rewrite a time period or to make Snow White go all Joan of Arc is ridiculous. My favorite picture was at a different site. Kristen smoking in between takes.. might as well throw that into the film too. Snow White smoking with the dwarves.. I mean it doesn't get more modern then that. How about some homemade machine guns too.

"Snow White" isn't a time period. It's a fairy tale - a made-up story. Do you realize how many different versions there are of Snow White already?

Everyone in Hollywood is knocking off the Graphic Novel "Fables". I highly recommend the original source for all this new interest in fables.

As a little girl I read Snow White over and over. I loved the story, particularly the Dwarfs (Dwarves?). As a childhood fan of the story, I am interested in checking this out as a different take on Snow White.

I do not think I have seen starring Kristen Stewart before, but I have to sympathize a bit with someone that draws so many negative and cruel comments.

Why all the hate....how about some respect for people. She is just a young lady doing a job and doing her best....please be respectful. Most Hollywood insiders believe she is a very very talented young actress...so please cut her a break and learn some manners. All you Kristren Stawert Haters can GO TO HELL!!! She's beautiful, talented, and yes maybe she does have an akwardness to her , but that's what makes her unique. Robert and Taylor are akward too, but I don't see nobody talking about them. They're not even all that good- looking. I'm glad Kristen is doing movies that separates her from twilight. I can't wait to see this movie. Get a life People!!

She was in The Runaways, and she still acted horrible. At least Lautner and Pattinson have some acting abilities (although Lautner's latest movie is garbage). All that she can do is say "ugh..uuugh". Beautiful? She always looks like she been constantly smoking dope with Rob. There's a good chance of that too.
