CNN's Erin Burnett is engaged.
Her lucky fiancee is Citigroup executive David Rubulotta. Burnett delivered the news on Tuesday at the launch party for her new show "OutFront." According to the New York Post, she thanked him for being there, and stepped out wearing a diamond engagement ring.
Burnett, who is 34, said that Rubulotta proposed last month. The two met when Burnett was a vice-president at Citigroup prior to joining CNBC, according to the Daily Mail.
A spokesperson for Burnett told Yahoo, "She loves how supportive he is."
One would assume so, considering Burnett's list of things that would impress her. They included round-trip business-class tickets to Australia and New Zealand for her parents, and having an exercise bike delivered to her apartment.
Now, Burnett has even more to celebrate with the debut of her show next Monday. CNN turned out in full force for "OutFront," which premieres next Monday. Anderson Cooper, Joy Behar and Piers Morgan were there to show their support.
