Scream At The Beach
Portland's Scream at the Beach is an annual Halloween spectacular that offers a variety of attractions. Guests looking for a good scare can enter a haunted Halloween town or run through Clown Chaos, a maze featuring killer clowns. Kids can join in on the fun by hopping aboard the carousel. This month-long attraction, which starts at the beginning of October, features other special events, including a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and kid-friendly trick-or-treating on Halloween. Admission to the haunted houses is $20.

Shanghai Tunnel Ghost Tour
History buffs and aspiring ghost hunters can explore Portland's tunnels and uncover their paranormal past. The two-hour Shanghai Tunnel Ghost Tour, held early autumn through Halloween, starts in the city's streets before taking guests underground for exploration. During the tour, guests will learn about Portland's haunted history. Tours take place on weekend nights, with ticket prices starting at $8 for kids and $13 for adults.

Howloween At The Zoo
Animal lovers can get into the holiday spirit with creatures of all kinds at the Oregon Zoo. The zoo's Howloween weekend kicks off with the annual Squishing of the Squash, where the elephants are given a giant pumpkin to destroy. The weekend continues with trick-or-treating around the zoo and a scavenger hunt for costumed kids. The events are free with zoo admission, which is $10.50 for adults and $7.50 for children 11 and under.
