Mick Jagger's Facebook Problem: 'I Spend Way Too Much Time On The Computer' (VIDEO)

Mick Jagger Spends Too Much Time On Facebook

The Huffington Post   Mallika Rao First Posted: 09/30/11 02:25 PM ET Updated: 11/30/11 05:12 AM ET

In an interview with USA Today about his new band, Mick Jagger let slip that he wastes time on Facebook that could be spent making music instead:

I spend way too much time on the computer and not enough time playing the guitar. There's an underlying problem of this screen life taking over all of your life. It's easy to keep in touch with people, some of whom I wish I'd never kept in touch with. But there they are on Facebook! You can spend a lot of time on that when you should be doing something else.

Before you shake your head and murmur, "stars....they're just like us," consider another share from the interview. Twitter isn't as much of a time-suck for Jagger, because he pays people to tweet for him.

Check out the what Jagger does when he's not on the computer -- a music video for "Miracle Worker" from his new band Superheavy:

I find the mental image of Jagger worrying about keeping his crops harvested on Farmville to be absolutely hysterical.

Jagger is a pretty good blues and slide guitarist. He's been playing guitar on stage with the Stones for a long time; at least since the early eighties.

I agree with Mick Jagger.....Facey B. is like a black hole. Get too close, and there is no escape...you're sucked right in and can't get out, most of us think. Or maybe we land in another universe on the other side of the black hole (Facey B.).
