Pat Buchanan: Black People Bought 'Propaganda' On The 'Liberal Plantation' (VIDEO)

Pat Buchanan endorsed Herman Cain's controversial claim that black voters have been "brainwashed" into voting Democratic -- and, on Thursday, he added some very controversial opinions of his own to the mix.

On Wednesday, Cain told CNN that black voters "have been brainwashed into not being open-minded, not even considering a conservative point of view." The comment received a lot of attention, and MSNBC's Martin Bashir asked Buchanan about it on his Thursday show. Buchanan said he wholeheartedly approved.

"I think the African American community has embraced Great Society liberalism which has been devastating for the African American family," he said. "...I admire Herman Cain for standing up and going against, if you will, the conventional wisdom, and being a tough African American businessman."

"Brainwashed?" Bashir said. "That's a fairly strong term."

"I think what he's saying is they bought a lot of liberal propaganda on the liberal plantation and I think he's right!" Buchanan replied staunchly.

"On the liberal plantation. Wow." Bashir said. "That's right," Buchanan said.

Buchanan got himself into hot water In August when he called President Obama "your boy" to Al Sharpton. (Buchanan later clarified his remarks.)

MSNBC is a conservative RACIST station; they keep Pat on board simply because they agree with him completely; they allow Mika to dumbly consider herself as a dumb blond, but PAT is a bigot, was a bigot when they hired him and they endorse everything he says.

Strongly held beliefs and diverse opinions are good for debate. And while Buchanan has both, they are of a mind that hasn't aged well. MSNBC's only goal is to boost ratings and either believes Americans aren't capable of understanding world economy, war, famine, genocide or human rights issues; or no one at MSNBC is capable of understanding those issues. Debate is good but can we at least have debate that broadens our perspective and engages us without open racist, xenophobic, sexist hostility? Let Pat rant at home in a rocking chair. He'll be 73 soon. Even Dumbeldore didn't live that long.

Lets take one large urban city, "Chicago," entire chain of government is black, democrat or both. Mayor Emmanuel(D), both senators (D), Governor Pat Quinn(D), President Obama(D), and all the hood in Chicago has to show for it is crime, poverty, gangs, and the highest murder rate among young black youth in the country. It's a mess. But yet, they all blame the Republicans, sounds like brainwashing to me. It is like that in EVERY large urban city, which are democratic strongholds. Kids are brainwashed into gangs by republican voters.

What is so shocking about Pat Buchanan making a bigoted comment? The man is an unreconstructed racist who helped develop the Southern Strategy.

What is shocking is that the media, HuffPo included, still treat him as if he is a worthwhile contributor to the public discourse. Really, if we are going to have Pat around, why not go whole hog and give David Duke his own show or section on HuffPo?

As a Black person,I say Buchanan and Cain told a half truth.Black have not only been brainwashed by the left but by European philosophy in general.Blacks think when they vote,they really have a voice.They think their vote represents them.Blacks have been brainwashed with false religion that has not served them well.They are 12% of the population and over 80% of the prison population.Why.They/we have been brainwashed.

Not voting and believing you somehow have a greater understanding about what's really going on, is akin to allowing rocks to be hurled at your head while you ignore it and the damage to your brain. That is truly having been brainwashed. Americans of African slave and American ancestry are between 18-20% of the total population. Hispanic is not a race, and a rough estimate can be anywhere between 25-30% of non-white Hispanics, more if you count mixed-race Hispanic. Prison appx 10% of the Adult population, not 80% of the entire population of Americans of African slave and American descent.
