Patti Stanger Gets Controversial, Stereotypes Gay Men

Patti Stanger Puts Foot In Mouth ... Again

She's at it again. "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger, who a few days ago made sweeping, offensive generalizations about gay men, has once again put her foot in her mouth, this time saying gay men have a chemical imbalance.

“Gays don't have a lot of testosterone,” Stanger told a shocked-looking Joy Behar on her hit "The Joy Behar Show." "I'm talking about that they use both sides of their brain. Straight men only use one side. Gay men are very bright, very handsome ... they put themselves better together. They dress good, they decorate, they clean, they cook."

These shocking remarks came just a few days after homophobic and anti-semitic remarks she made on Bravo’s "Watch What Happens Live" -- but Patti isn't as confident now.

"Patti has fled to Florida to celebrate the Jewish holidays with her family," a friend of Stanger tells me. "She finally understands what she has done and instead of continuing to dig herself deeper [into] trouble, she has decided to flee to her family. She’s going to hide out for a while but has learned her lesson. From now on she is going to try and be much more careful about what she says."

Stanger made similarly controversial comments last week when she advised women to "dumb it down" in order to find a man.

Tough love or total bigotry? We hope it's the former.
