As if Yigit Pura, winner of the first season of Bravo's "Top Chef: Just Desserts", wasn't delicious enough already, now he's shirtless and covered in sprinkles for a new charity calendar.
The 30-year-old pastry chef, who began his culinary training at the age of four in Ankara, Turkey, is featured as Mr. December in the Meals On Wheels of San Francisco "Chefs of the Bay Area" 2012 calendar. 11 other local chefs were also shot and 100 percent of the proceeds from sales will directly benefit the organization and its efforts to serve homebound seniors.
"We are deeply honored to have the support of these 12 world-class chefs," said Ashley McCumber, Executive Director at Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, in a press release. "Over the past 24 years, chefs throughout the Bay Area -- including the 12 in the calendar -- have helped us raise millions of dollars at our annual Star Chefs and Vintners Gala. This calendar is just one more way they are helping us ensure that no homebound senior goes hungry."
