Christina Hendricks: James Bond Visa Commercial In 1997 (VIDEO)

News broke this week that a young French actress may be the new Bond Girl in the upcoming, Sam Mendes-directed "Bond 23." If true, it will launch 23-year-old Bérénice Marlohe to immediate stardom, and hey, perhaps she's got the chops to become a global icon. But if you ask us (we're awaiting a call, Mr. Mendes), we'd love to see the role go to an actress who has already spent a few fleeting moments on-screen with 007.

Before she was an Emmy nominee for "Mad Men," a two-timing criminal in "Drive," a con artist in "Firefly," an experimental teen in "Undressed" or, well, anything else, Christina Hendricks starred in a Visa Check Card commercial with Daniel Craig's Bond predecessor, Pierce Brosnan. She even puts on a British accent for the occasion, which is alternatively amazing and ridiculous.

In a bit of irony, she co-starred with Brosnan in last month's "I Don't Know How She Does It," which was seen by far fewer people than this thirty-second commercial from the late 90s.

Too bad the commercial doesn't give any clues about whether her tetas were as swollen then as they are now. The fact they VISA didn't capitalize on them makes me think they are a later asset addition ;-)

Check out Everclear's video from the same year called "One Hit Wonder" (link below, or google it yourself). At the very beginning (:08) and towards the end when she leaving the building (3:05) there's some pretty good shots of her. Even though she's wearing a t-shirt you can tell that even back then she was a very healthy young woman.

Those are in NOW WAY fake. VISA could not because female viewers would not want to see it. She was not as heavy a she is now and women with her figure type gain cup size with weight.

Some people have to get up early and drag themselves to work, then drag themselves to their second job, maybe even their third job, then go home and eat a lean cuisine. But a fortunate few are born with fantastic bodies and all they need to do is shake their parts around and make scads of money doing it. Go figure.

Or, like Jillian Michaels (or Ryan Reynolds or Russell Crowe), some people create their amazing body. Faces are a different matter.

Anybody who hits the gym hard for sixty to ninety minutes a day everyday of their life (and not eat refined sugar or flour) will have a body somebody will pay to look at.
