A preseason darling of NFL prognosticators, the Atlanta Falcons have not gotten off to the soaring start that everyone expected. The Falcons take the field on Sunday in Seattle with a 1-2 record. If they are going to straighten up and fly right then star wide receiver Roddy White will likely figure prominently in the success.
Coming off a 140-yard performance in a losing effort against the Bucs last week, White missed practice this week and was listed as questionable with a quad injury.
Just hours before kick-off on Sunday, ESPN senior write John Clayton revealed that White will be active for the game. Of course, it remains to be seen how integral to the gameplan he will be. Will he be actively used as a decoy to free up rookie wideout Julio Jones? Or will he be effectively deployed as the No. 1 receiving threat for Matt Ryan?
