Recently, Leonardo DiCaprio was named the biggest earner of 2010. And with lead roles from J. Edgar Hoover to Jay Gatsby, his success does not seem to be slowing down.

Now, according to Deadline, Warner Bros will be tailoring the adaptation of Don Winslow's bestselling novel, "Satori" for DiCaprio.

The "Titanic" dreamboat is slotted to play Nicholai Hel, a Westerner raised in Japan, learning the tricks of the trade from his stepfather, who also happens to be a martial arts expert.

When his stepfather is sentenced to public execution, Hel kills him to protect his honor, which lands him in prision. It is there that a CIA agent discovers him and hires him to kill a political figure.

The thriller has room for sequels and is being angled similarly to the"Bourne" series.

After playing the dapper Gatsby in the Baz Luhrmann production, DiCaprio will be moving onto Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained."

You look like your taste runs more to Jon-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris.

Does his head seem swollen? I don't mean it as a pun. It just seems to get physically bigger.

Leo DiCaprio is defintely on fire.. He get roles many actors dream of. Leo started out as a strong actor in his teens (What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Basketball Diaries etc) and it has continued into his adulthood. Good for him, i'm sure many people probably written him off after Titanic came out and Leomania started...

What was that movie he did with Robert Deniro? This Boy's Life or something? I liked that one. Deniro played the biggest DB dad ever.

LdC is a fine actor, which I admit begrudgingly. As long as he does not play romantic leads, he is excellent. I just find him a bit creepy, and unbelievable in a romantic scene. The only weak part of Gangs of NY was his little romantic scene. He plays complicated men: emotionally conflicted or morally crippled characters really well. I am looking forward to see what he does next.

I thought he was creepy when he was in Growing Pains. I guess he carried it with him. Don't like him as an actor, he hasn't won anything except a really big pay cheque. He must be doing something right.

Some are born to do it. He has worked his tail off and mastered his craft. He now is almost as good as they get. He may improve with age like Sean Connery and Jack Nicholson.

it's to imagine anyone like connery, nicholson, maybe even ol' John Wayne being compared to most of today's stars.

Not Nicholson. Nicholson is special.

However, I'm a huge fan of DiCaprio and see all his films. He's a major talent whose acting is growing more complex and persuasive with each passing year. I put him and Christian Bale in the same class.
