The Washington Redskins beat the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, 17-10. Now, 3-1 so far this season, the Redskins have had their best start since 2008 and are first in the NFC East.
As The Washington Post's Tom Boswell writes, beating the Rams should have a walk through the park for the Redskins. "Slaughtering these lambs should be easy. But it’s never easy to beat anybody with Rex Grossman at quarterback."
While Grossman may have disappointed, as the Bleacher Report notes, Redskins runningback Ryan Torain carried the day: "Clearly, the afternoon was all about Torain, as he finished with 135 rushing yards off 19 carries and a touchdown in his first action of the season."
The decision Redskins coach Mike Shanahan needs to make, as the Post's Rick Maese lays out, before the Redskins play Philadelphia on Oct. 16: "Stick with [Tim] Hightower or give the starting job to Torain?"
