Fox News:

A student has reportedly sued the University of North Florida for banning guns from being stored in cars parked on the school's campus.
The lawsuit, which was filed Monday by student Alexandria Lainez and a Second Amendment group called Florida Carry, claims the school is citing its right to ban guns from being stored in vehicles on campus parking lots just like a Florida public school district could, KnightNews.com reports.

It'll be interesting to see how this suit goes.I am a strong advocate for the right to bear arms,so of course I'd like to see the student win. Now,I'll just await the anti-gun crowd's expected responses to my post...

I'm 75 years old, and absolutely believe in the right to bear arms. I own 2 sidearms. I don't flaunt them just to be a bully, but I wouldn't be afraid to use either of them to protect my , or my loved ones lives. Protection is the only reason to have them unless you're a hunter. No one with a criminal record should be allowed to have ANY firearms. All who want one shouldhave to go thoschool to learn the proper way to handle them.
I still have my Junior Hunters School certificate from when I was a teen. Also, when I got my guns last year, I had a cop take me to a shooting range to refresh me on handling.

Well said,Marian.Too bad many on this site believe you don't have that right(despite the wording in the Bill Of Rights AND the Supreme Court)and would love nothing more than to take that right away from us.
