Olivia Wilde Chooses Red Lace For Tod's Party (PHOTOS, POLL)

PHOTOS: Olivia Wilde Continues To Confuse Us

We often get a bit bummed out by Olivia Wilde's outfit choices, lamenting the fact that large swaths of material or excessively dark, depressing colors obscure the actress' gorgeous figure and natural beauty.

But we should really stop being surprised and just admit: Wilde likes wearing granny styles. Not excessively granny, à la Elle Fanning, but old-style lace, long sleeves, long skirts and other sorts of body-covering fashions. That's simply the reality.

Wilde proved this yet again last night in Paris, as she joined the fashion elite at a party for Tod's. While checking out the luxe leather bags, Wilde wore a red lace-print dress with three-quarter length sleeves and an unusual mid-calf length.

She paired the outfit with black strappy, flower-embellished shoes by Roger Vivier, a black Tod's clutch and jewelry by Wilfredo Rosado.

Say what you will, but at least this 27-year-old star's style is consistent. What do you think of Wilde's covered-up look?
