DETROIT -- Delta Air Lines says federal officials arrested a man who became disruptive on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.
Airline spokeswoman Susan Elliott says the man "was quickly restrained" and was taken into custody by officials waiting when the flight landed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Elliott says Flight 235 continued on to Detroit without further issue after the man was restrained. Her statement didn't describe how the man was disruptive, how he was restrained or who restrained him on the plane.
FBI spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold says the agency has an agent at the airport looking into the incident. She would only describe the passenger as "unruly," and also declined to say how he was restrained.
Messages seeking further comment were left for airport officials.
