Alan Cohen spent over 20 years in TV marketing, advertising and promotion before moving to the agency side, first with Interpublic Group's Initiative and now with OMD, where he oversees US operations as CEO, OMD US. Alan sat down with AOL's David Bell during in Cannes to discuss the state of the industry, attracting and retaining talent, and how he goes about winning new business.
What book are you reading right now? In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson, because I love European history.
If you could have any super power, what would it be? Being able to fly would save me a lot of time - but alas, no air miles.
What is your late night snack? McDonald's Rolo McFlurry is amazing, even though I should be eating fruit.
What is your favorite band/music? Mostly UK indie, as I like to discover new acts and root for them to be the next big thing.
What is your favorite part of the day? Meals and, sadly, coffee, too. I don't need it, but like it.
