I like the idea of employers striving to make their employees happy. If you have happy people working for you, you get better production. There is a company in Tx (I forget the name of it) In their building they offer daycare, workout facility, a room to nap for 20 to 30 min, and excellent vacation and healthcare. They have restrictions on healthcare with smoking and weight, but I think that is fair when they offer so much to the families. That is how more American companies should treat their employees. Pay them well, treat them well, and they will produce.

I enjoyed this, both women having my respect. I like Arianna's point on sleep, it is so true and her words on pride. My son would never allow me to say I was proud of him, he found it offensive. Finding words to replace pride was always fun ... like you are well accomplished etc. Neat what kids can teach moms.

So it's come to this - a woman of dubious talent who was given a talk show while sleeping with the head of the network interviews a self-serving woman whose political opinions have gone in whatever direction will enhance her financial and social goals. The woman who is proudly vulgar is urged by the woman whose kids were sent to boarding school to have a baby out of wedlock, although that woman demonstrates absolutely no interest in nurturing. This is what we had always hoped women of power would look like.
