Princess Beatrice Sits Front Row At Elie Saab (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 10/05/2011 5:08 pm Updated: 12/05/2011 4:12 am

As Paris Fashion Week draws to a close, we hereby bring you the final front row royal: Princess Beatrice!

The British royal sat front row at Elie Saab today and we are happy to say that the princess actually looked absolutely fabulous.

Infamous for her poor fashion choices -- specifically, that squiggly Royal Wedding fascinator -- Princess Beatrice struggles to pick outfits that please. Yet at today's runway show, sitting next to David Wertheimer and Ines Sastre, the 23-year-old royal looked chic in a simple red shift, black pumps and -- gasp!-- no hat.

Going chapeau-less, we think, made a huge difference. In June the princess stepped out in a blush-colored Elie Saab gown, head uncovered, to quite positive reviews.

But an earlier summer outing in a flat-topped, off-white topper proved less successful, aging the young princess and distracting from her outfit.

Check out the princess' sophisticated Fashion Week ensemble below! Congrats, Bea, on an outfit well chosen.

Bea looks fantastic! Red is a great color on her. Unfortunately, she always looks shocked; she would benefit from some smoky, heavy liner to make her eyes appear smaller.

Not that this is a bad thing but... every time I see Princess Bea I think that her eyes are too beg for the rest of her face. Makes her look just a little manga-esque.

Every time I see these fashion types it forces me to reconsider my position on capital punishment.

The French got it right in the 1790's.

This lovely girl, auctioned off that silly hat, and raised $131,000.00 for charity.

When was the last time any of you fashinista's did that? Kudo's girl!

You don't mention how she snubbed Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand when the latter, who was also sitting in the front row, tried to introduce herself to Beatrice. Perhaps Beatrice didn't want to be distracted during the hats that look like taxicab signs segment. Or, she was just being a typical British snob. Princess Sirivannavari is a fashion designer and a stunner and would no doubt have made Beatrice look even more frumpy than she already is.

F&F'd of course. The Thai Princess is beautiful. All the Royal Family of Thailand girls are beautiful and handle themselves with grace. Beatrice's mom is (horrors) Fergie. Someone once said of Fergie, "she bounded into her Royal position like an overexcited Labrador Retriever". Beatrice needs some good Cosmetic Dentistry, that would change that horse look. She could have her teeth moved slightly back to correct her overbite (or filed and lumaneered) and shorten the length of those top chompers. Why hasn't her dentist recommended this to her????

Did u ever notice that in every pic of her, that her mouth is open? Like her teeth to big for her to close her mouth? I'm sorry, but to say this girl is beautiful is like saying Sophia Loren is my mother...and she is not!....

Don't care for her since she wore that ridiculous hat at the wedding. She should not have been trying to get attention for herself. I'm betting she knew what she was doing when she bought it. Please grow up. It's not about you all the time. And that, in my opinion, makes her NOT pretty

She wasn't the only one with a strange hat, that seems to be the thing over there these days. They aren't really hats, they are art pieces and ugly ones at that.

She bought the hat from a very high level hat designer who makes hats for many of the royals, including her grandmother, the Queen. Just because it isn't part of YOUR culture, doesn't make it wrong in hers. It's hard for me to understand how people can be SO judgmental about someone's intentions from a few media snap shots.

....and ALL of his hats had too much of HIS signature on them at the Royal Wedding. You could pick out his millinery work a mile a way. Posh, etc....had on his tackiness. Put it right up their with British cuisine, ......and I like London.
