Ji Lee, Facebook's Creative Director, Makes New Book Of Word Games

First Posted: 10/06/11 01:20 PM ET   Updated: 12/06/11 05:12 AM ET

Facebook's Creative Director Ji Lee has an unusual habit: he stares at words until he can find their meanings hidden inside. The result is a witty, playful little book filled with images that are half puzzle, half pleasure.

Similar in tone to much of the work of the late Alan Fletcher, Lee also provides some hints on how everyone can see words in a new way.

To coincide with the launch of his book "Word as Image" (Perigree Trade, $14), we've borrowed nine of the most entertaining images for you to puzzle over and enjoy. No hints!

Very cute. It reminds me of the really fun (and occasionally profound) work of Scott Kim.
