Design aficionados know that fashion and home design are inevitably tied together, from patterns such as houndstooth and ikat to the latest color trends. That's why while we constantly keep our eyes peeled for great design, we're also keeping a close watch on what's coming down the runways each season. And we were most recently inspired by this colorful paisley-printed dress by designer of the moment Raf Simons for Jil Sander's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. We love the light contrast of blue, green, and pink against the white dress, which combine to form a beautiful palette of garden colors that would work together beautifully in a sunny room. Try combining the colors using accent pillows on a sofa or setting a table with dishware and a tablecloth in these colors.
