Mill Valley Film Festival Opening Night (PHOTOS)

On Thursday evening, filmmakers and film-lovers gathered at Outdoor Art Club to celebrate the Opening Night of the 34th annual Mill Valley Film Festival.

Glenn Close wore a chic black sequined jacket as she chatted with Robin Williams and Mort Sahl before the screening of her new film Albert Nobbs -- a film she co-wrote and starred in.

Meanwhile, brothers Mark and Jay Duplass sat down to talk about their new film, Jeff, Who Lives At Home, starring Jason Segel and Ed Helms.

It might have been nice, but it was waay too much trouble to identify those people pictured whom we don't know.
Forget journalism seems to be the path. Stars dazzle??? If you call them 'all' stars, then
everyone KNOWS them... no need for identifying them.

I bet that Robin Williams had some hilarious things to say.

He and Glenn Close most famously played son and mom in "The World According to Garp", but she also had a bit part in "Hook" (as the pirate stuffed into a crate).
