'Be Yourself' PSA Spoofs Lady Gaga, Katy Perry And Nicki Minaj (VIDEO)

Between "Bossypants", "Bridesmaids" and this Fall's TV lineup, 2011 has been a big year for women in the mainstream, but not every lady in the public eye is the best role model.

Take pop stars Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, for instance. Sure, they sell a lot of albums and their songs are huge on the radio, but a vivacious stage presence does not a philosopher make. Comedians Alison Bennett, Sasheer Zamata and Violet Krumbein picked up on this little discrepancy and decided to have some fun with it.

Because when your advice is coming from a woman sitting inside of a plastic egg, maybe you need to rethink who you're asking for advice.
