Eleven Madison Park's Stunning Cookbook Trailer (VIDEO)

Posted: 10/11/11 02:28 PM ET

It's amazing how much can happen to one restaurant in a fairly short time span. Eleven Madison Park, already a four-star restaurant according to the New York Times, has recently received another accolade, the coveted third Michelin star. It held one star prior.

Around the same time as the Michelin announcement, it was reported that restaurateur Danny Meyer is selling Eleven Madison Park, the crown jewel of his Union Square Hospitality Group empire, to the restaurant's chef Daniel Humm and general manager Will Guidera.

On top of all this, the Eleven Madison Park cookbook will go on sale on November 11. The recipes might be a little bit challenging for the home cook, but that won't stop us from grabbing a copy.

Why so much attention to one restaurant? Watch the cookbook preview video below and the beautiful array of dishes will make everything clear.

Eleven Madison Park has gone beyond small plates to small food......portion control taken to the nth degree. Definitely a healthy way to eat. Maybe the cook book will reveal where such tiny perfect foods can be purchased. It will be fun to try a recipe.

Yumm

I really love tiny perfect food for some reason.

The top picture looks like something I've often made for my kids that's really easy with a wow factor... a gruyere stick garden ... just a gruyere stick dotted with a thick hummus and then I adhere watercress and edible flowers to the hummus to make it a garden. They always liked eating flowers *lol* My poor pansys and clover must hate to see me with scissors in my hand. (I pull the individual petals and wash them well and then stick them into the hummus along with the watercress leaves).

I love what they did with the peas and mint leaves.. I'll be trying that soon.
