Jon Huntsman Daughters Hit Back At GOP Candidates Over Twitter During Republican Debate

While Jon Huntsman may be holding back from slinging attacks at his fellow GOP contenders, his daughters are not.

Throughout the Republican primary debate in New Hampshire Tuesday night, Huntsman's three oldest daughters -- Liddy, Abby and Mary Anne -- have been tweeting under the name @Jon2012Girls, making fun of the other Republicans and defending their dad.

Some of their tweets:

- "How does Romney know anything about China? He's only been there once and that was for the Olympics. Panda express doesn't count."

- "Just picture the Von trapp family eating pizza and singing about numbers. Maybe we will have a Romney bro duet."

- "When is someone going to make a song about 9-9-9? We will start working on one. Get ready."

- @AriFleischer we had an intervention with dad to just be himself tonight...glad he finally took our advice.

It's good they are dialing back the rhetoric, but it does them no good. GOP primary voters are waiting for their perfect candidate: "Jesus Christ"...well, minus the tolerance & compassion, feeding the poor, healing the sick, loving thy neighbor, etc.

Wow, they are hot.
I have really been surprised that the Republican mainstream has not embraced the last sane sounding guy on their ticket.
He was a brand that could have redeemed the intellectual conservatives that bailed under Bush and maybe even pulled some moderates from Obama.
Instead he has been declared too reasonable to be a real republican.
Keep it up republicans, its going to be real lonely in 2012.

There are very many ignorant people who like to comment on Mormons and their underwear. A majority of Mormons do not wear the garment and unmarried people generally do not but why am I telling you this when you are obviously rude and unteachable.

ohhh snark! i was brought up mormon and even have a SINGLE sister who got her endowments to serve on a mission. perhaps my parents were more strict than you - we were taught to dress modestly - as though we were wearing the sacred panties under our clothes.

How on earth is this person "obviously rude and unteachable" based on their little comment? What kind of a person makes such a ridiculous blanket statement about someone based on a simple comment? It amazes me how many people seem to think that they possess ESP and can tell people's entire personalities, marital status, job, and personal belief systems based on a comment about one story.

Actually, Huntsman is a TRUE conservative, not one of the far right wing radicals that hijacked the term "conservative." He did well as governor of Utah; he would do well as president of the United States. In fact, he's the only worthwhile candidate runnin for the Republican nomination.
