Well, it looks like coach John Fox finally heard the fans chanting “Tebow! Tebow!” because as of this morning, Tim Tebow is the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos, replacing Kyle Orton.
And the Tebow Billboard at 58th and Logan has been updated to celebrate the news with several new pro-Tebow images reading: “10/11/11 National Tebow Day” and “The Mile High Spark Is Back, It’s Tebow Time.” One image calls out coach Fox specifically, reading: “Coach Fox: Welcome To Tebow Land.”
The billboard first appeared in late September with messages urging coach Fox to “Play Tebow!” The employees at Multiline International Imports surrendered their own digital sign for their favorite quarterback.
First-And-Orange first reported on the billboard and spoke with Multiline International employee Mohammad Suleiman about using the company sign to support the loved-hated quarterback:
Tebow's the man. He's bringing excitement to Denver like we haven’t seen in a few years.
The Multiline billboard is about 20 miles away from the Broncos Dove Valley training facility in Englewood and about 5 miles from newly renamed Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
