Kelsey Grammer Sits Down For In-Depth Interview With Piers Morgan

Finally Kelsey Grammer has decided to do a sitdown interview in which he'll tell his side of the story about what went wrong with his marriage to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer.

"Kelsey taped a one-hour exclusive sitdown interview with Piers [Morgan] to promote his return to TV in his new Starz show, 'Boss,' and also finally to speak about what went wrong with his marriage," a CNN insider tells me. "Everyone wanted the interview, but Piers persuaded the private Kelsey to sit with him and discuss everything from his new wife, his custody fight and how he believes his ex-wife was more interested in fame and fortune than him."

At one point, Kelsey reportedly even told Piers, "Camille married 'Frasier,' not me."

Camille herself has not been silent since sitting down with me for an interview on my HDNet talk show, "Naughty But Nice." She implied to Howard Stern that her ex likes to wear women’s clothing and told the ladies on her Bravo show that Kelsey had "big hands, big feet and [was a] big disappointment."

"Kelsey's interview was taped a few weeks ago and, over the two hours he spent with Piers, he opened up much more than anyone thought he would," the CNN insider says. "With early buzz on his return to TV in 'Boss' being so strong, insiders say he has his old confidence back and is ready to speak for himself, rather than let his ex do all the talking."

Thank GOODNESS Grammer's "late model" (blonde, perky, 30-year-old ex-stewardess) bride ONLY married him for pure, innocent love and appreciation of his rapier wit.

I'm sure his fame, money and celebrity had absolutely nothing to do with it.

In fact, I'll bet Kayte would have been perfectly happy to have an affair with -- and then rapidly marry -- any old balding 56-year-old she ran into. It just happened that Kelsey was lucky enough to snatch her up first.

Kelsey Grammar is a pig. He treated Camille terribly and I'm not even a fan of hers. He has previously admitted but for her, he would have lost all his money, and his health. She was the brains in that relationship who made him take care of himself, and his money. He had been cheating on her, dumped her unceremoniously, and, remarried within days! What a loser. What is this, his 4th marriage??

You know those wild and wacky talents in Hollywood!?!?!? I'm pretty sure Camille Grammer knew she was saying "I do" to Kelsey Grammer? Wasn't that the name on the marriage license?

Question is, does Kelsey know who he is? Pretty sure playing a "Dr." on TV doesn't make you one in "real" life.

Regardless of what she said in the press, the man left her for a younger version of herself and did so publicly. What does he expect her to do? Of course she is going to be furious and humiliated. Neither party here has behaved perfectly but if he really wants peace he shouldn't comment on the divorce at all in the public. The one talking the most is going to end up looking the worst and they are just flaming the fires. The way he goes through wives his current marriage doesn't look like it is long for this world.

Camille Grammer was dumped and she can't get over it. She was once married to a very popular and talented actor. His celebrity made her the wife of celebrity. Now she's simple an ex-wife of a celebrity and striking out in any way she can. The "big feet, big hands, big disappointment," comment made her look immature, classless and simply bitter.

She is the one who was smart enough to turn his mostly depleted portfolio back into a money maker. She is the one who nursed him back to health....by his own admissions. Who cares that they split out, no one....but for his children, his own self-respect, and for all that she did for him, he should have handled that a lot better. He was a selfish, indulgent child. In the end though, I'd endure some humiliation if on the other side I walked away with a seriously multi-million dollar settlement. She has more $$ than she can spend, and just for marrying him. I'm ambivalent.
