Australian Baby Boomers are increasingly technologically savvy, according to the 2011 Sensis Business Index. More than a thousand Aussies revealed their technological habits in the annual Sensis survey with results showing that businesspeople in their 50s and early 60s are showing strong usage of social media, mobile webs, tablets and online purchasing.
We thought it was pretty funny that a survey about Internet use was conducted via telephone interviews, not online. Regardless, of the 1,002 small and medium business owners surveyed, nearly 24 percent were between the ages of 50 and 64.
