'Don't Tell The Bride' Series Premiere: Sneak Peek (VIDEO)

First Posted: 10/14/11 08:14 PM ET Updated: 12/14/11 05:12 AM ET

If you were getting married, would you let your spouse-to-be plan the entire wedding--in secret?

In OWN's new series, "Don't Tell The Bride," premiering Saturday Oct. 15 at 10 pm, brides do just that. In each episode, a bride gives her groom total control over planning their wedding. With a little help from former "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" star Caroline Rhea, these husbands-to-be must decide every detail of the wedding--including choosing the bride's dress.

In this sneak peek from the show's premiere, a groom is just beginning the hunt for the perfect dress. When asked his fiancee's size, he replies: "Probably a small or a medium. She has some nice hips on her. Really nice hips."

What could go wrong?

I think this is an extremely cute show and I didn’t think he would be getting married for a second because he didn’t seem like he was going to pull the wedding off like I’d hoped but it turned out beautiful! I’m definitely going to watch this show and make it a regular on my DVR and the best part about it is that I can watch it in HD using the HD Free for Life promotion with my employee DISH Network account and I will never have to pay another penny for the best quality possible. New and existing DISH Network customers can also sign up for it and start saving immediately!

What happens when the groom plans the wedding?

The bride becomes a congresswoman from Minnesota.

If so, I'll bet it was a successful and tasteful wedding..... (though the honeymoon was likely a disappointment)

In most other cases.....not so good a wedding. thought the honeymoon will likely work out fine

Well for once the guys attending would enjoy the wedding.

Seriously who cares what color is the piece or ribbon around the mint bundle?

HuffPo, maybe a quick typo edit? "bride" not "bide" in second sentence of second paragraph.
