Kelsey Grammer: 'Real Housewives' Was 'Parting Gift' To Camille

In an interview with Piers Morgan airing Monday, Kelsey Grammer revealed that "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" reality show was his "parting gift" to his ex-wife Camille.

"It was my way of saying, ‘Look, you always wanted to be famous, here you go,'” Grammer said.

This, despite reports earlier this week that the "Fraiser" star is mulling a gag order against his ex-wife for bashing him in the press.

It's not the first time Grammer expressed that sentiment. He said nearly the exact same line on the Australian talk show “Sunrise” Tuesday.

Grammer also revealed that the former spouses "have no contact," and that their marital problems spanned many years.

"If you say I want a divorce enough times you're going to get one," he said.

The couple divorced in February 2011 after 14 years of marriage.

No matter what was going on in the marriage or between them, he is out, and married, and there is no reason that two adult co-parenting children can't bring themselves to a maturity in which they can be civil and polite for their children's sake. What a shame for the kids.

Uh yea, she was there for him and pretty much saved his life while he was having a heart attack, but still, he bashes her. It's bad enough he cheated and was proud of it. Whatever problems they had in their marriage, he let it play out on that show while she had no clue other than he was treating her like dirt for all to see. And why did she keep asking for a divorce in the first place? This man is beyond narcissistic. Always has been, always will be.
