U.S. Airports With The Worst On-Time Arrival Records In August (PHOTOS)

The Office of Aviation Enforcement and Proceedings released its data of U.S. airport records for the month of August 2011. Lesson: Our airports (even the small ones) are really bad at making sure people get places on time.

The usual suspects consistently have on-time arrival ratings under 70%; New Jersey's Newark airport has an on-time arrival percentage of 59.9% while San Francisco fares a bit better at 67.8%. Yet even the nation's small airports seem to be struggling to keep up. Atlantic City's airport saw the arrival of just 62 flights, but still maintained an on-time arrival percentage of just 69.4%.

The most on-time airport in the country? Hobbs, New Mexico with a 100% on-time arrival and departure record (with 56 incoming and outgoing flights). Of the big airports, Salt Lake City had an on-time arrival record of 89.1%.
