Barack Obama Not A Fan Of The Kardashians, Michelle Says

He may have his finger on the pulse of crises around the world, but Barack Obama has no interest in keeping up with the Kardashians.

Which is probably a very good thing.

Speaking at a roundtable interview with iVillage.com, First Lady Michelle Obama was asked about her children's television viewing habits. She doesn't allow TV or computer screens during the week unless it's for school, but she and the girls do like to get in some tube time over the weekends. The Kardashians' flagship show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," just so happens to run on Sunday night, which doesn't exactly thrill the first dad.

"Barack really thinks some of the Kardashian - when they watch that stuff - he doesn't like that as much," she said, "but I sort of feel like if we're talking about it, and I'm more concerned with how they take it in - what did you learn when you watched that. And if they're learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I'm like, okay."

So, Malia and Sasha watch the Kardashians as a precautionary lesson. Makes sense, and assures us that Kim wasn't on a political mission while visiting the Middle East. The whole thing does, however, make us curious as to how the President felt when he had to welcome Khloe and Lamar to the White House in 2010 when he greeted the then-NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers.

The Kardashians a laughing all the way to the bank. These are middle class people that are making money despite Obama and his pro corporate and Wall Street policies! They are getting rich despite Obama, Geithner and their pro Wall Street and anti- middle class policies!

It is a shame these Kardashians have to beg for money on the street. Oh wait 4.1 million people watch the show. We could be so lucky huh. I admit it I am jealous, I am green with envy. Sob, boo, hoo. Stupid Kardashians, and disfunctional yet. My My.

Well at least Obama has good parenting instincts. I was unfortunate enough one night (sick with fever) to see an episode of the Kardashian show and I must say it is not any sort of example for young women. Episode I saw the following happened:

The Two teenage girls stole Bruce jenner's credit card bought a lot of clothes and when confronted by Bruce they just told him it was no big deal and that mom will let them keep the clothes. So in order to teach them a leasson he took them to a soup kitchen in LA where they spent the day talking to another teenager and exchanging texts and talking about teenage girls issues so no lesson learned there.

The same two teenage girls when served their dinner by their "chef" said they did'nt want to eat it and when pushed by their father Bruce Jenner they told him off and left

The adult children constantly were telling their mother to F&$%$ off in front of the teenage girls.

The Adult children took theri mother shopping and then publicly announced that their mother had a urine leakage problem in front of retail store clerks.

Each time I saw Bruce Jenner try to talk to his daughters they blew him off and were more concerned with their text messages and cell phones and he just walked away without doing anything about it.

This would certainly not be a show I would want a teenage daughter to watch.
