'When Harry Left Hogwarts': Documentary About The End Of 'Harry Potter' (VIDEO)

Daniel Radcliffe & Friends' Emotional Goodbye

There were a lot of tears shed in theaters worldwide when the last "Harry Potter" film hit screens in July, but the epic, magical film series' fans weren't the only ones to feel a profound sadness as that final chapter closed. As a new documentary reveals, the stars of the films themselves felt the immense impact of the end of their run.

"When Harry Left Hogwarts," a doc shot during the production of the final two movies, goes deep inside Leavesden studios to observe filming and get to know Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as they approach a major turning point in their careers and lives. Having spent a decade working on the films and embodying their characters, they will miss the comfort and security of that universe, and as Radcliffe says, are uncertain about what the "real world" will bring.

Along with the emotional interviews, the film also offers an interesting look at what goes on behind the scenes, and how the movie actually gets made. From green screens to sets you'd have never expected to be in a studio, it's unbelievably revealing -- perhaps even too much so for those so invested in the world -- and a rare opportunity to understand what went into making the box office record-breaking franchise. As paparazzi descend more and more on movie sets, we see the stars wearing black hoods in a car to avoid tipping off photographers, one of the most startling examples of the tricks of the movie trade.

In addition, the actual set is becoming a tourist destination, so if you fancy this film, you'll have plenty more to check out.

The film will be available, at first, in the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" four disc Blu-ray set, available only at Target.
