5 Characteristics TV Boss Ladies Have That We Love

The week started off with a bang yesterday as National Bosses Day was celebrated in offices and cubicles throughout the country. While the day itself is celebrated on October 16th, in the event of falling on a weekend the holiday gets bumped to the next working day, hence Oct. 17th.

When it comes to any day that celebrates your boss, you're either for it and ready to go all out or quietly hoping that you don't have to take the time to celebrate a less than ideal employer. The Kansas City Business Journal reported that 59 percent of Americans polled by Adecco Group do like their bosses and wouldn't change them. Whether you're in the 59 percent or the 41 percent or don't have an opinion either way, one thing we can agree on is that we like fictional TV bosses. The only problem I discovered with so many of these bosses I researched? The vast majority, even today, even on networks like HBO, are still men. Finding a solid list of 25 TV guy bosses takes all of five minutes, but doing the same thing for women is incredibly difficult. And it really shouldn't be either.
