The music world has been playing a game of cat and mouse with Justin Timberlake for quite some time.

First, he directed the FreeSol video, “Hoodies On, Hats Low,” popping up throughout most of it. Then, he took the stage at the band's concert, performing an acoustic version of "Cry Me a River" and a snippet of "Like I Love You."

Now he's really made good on that pledge to return to music, appearing in the brand new FreeSol video, "Role Model."

Here the newly-minted action star plays the video's lead -- wearing sunglass and rapping through a rough-and-tumble town.

Ah, feels like the 90's, JT!
