Kate Middleton's Favorite Shoe Shop LK Bennett Opens Another U.S. Store

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 10/21/2011 5:40 pm Updated: 12/21/2011 4:12 am

Kate Middleton loves her standby pieces... especially her LK Bennett shoes. If you are a fan of the new style icon, you will be pleased to know that the British brand has opened up their third stateside location.

Located at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, New Jersey, this shoe shop is the first freestanding boutique in the Northeast. Can we hope this will become a trend? Will Issa open up a boutique next?

What are some of the Duchess' favorite pieces? Take a look in our slideshow below (and yes, her LK Bennett heels make an appearance).

I just find it amazing how women have shoe fetishes and guys have foot fetishes. And yet men and women can meet in the middle as men ask women to keep their stillettos on but nothing else during sex or so I've been told since I'm a virgin.

It's great to see women who have a sense of style and dignity. Unlike a host of others who dress in scanty, see through, low cut to show the most boob clothes.

Every time I look at the charming William, I'm grateful that Diana bequeathed her genes to the royal family. She provided some much needed height, intelligence, integrity and class to that bunch of mongrels.

Not to be picky, but since when is New Jersey considered part of "the Northeast".

Signed, a New England resident - you know, the original "Northeast"!

p.s. - love the nude shoes!

God Save the Duchess of Cambridge! Abdication for Usurper Camila! Restore the House of Stuart!

Yeah, because the current royal house isn't descended from the Court Palatine line of the house...

But seriously, mate, the House of Stuart is kind of dead. Unless you want someone Bavarian in the Royal House of Windsor?

Closer to Manhattan....
10:38 PM on 10/24/2011
The mall they chose is a snobby little mall, and rarely crowded, not unlike Short Hills, and as mamala points out, has the advantage of being near Manhattan (about 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge). Bergen County's pretty affluent turf, and they're probably wise to not pay Manhattan rents. A lot of designers lose money on their Manhattan locations, considering a Madison Ave. location a part of their adveritsing budget - sometimes only doing it for a couple of years for the name recognition, before closing the shutters and then sticking with boutiques within dept. stores. Lucky LK Bennet, they already have the name recognition because of the duchess.

I thought the same thing. I guess the British royals' adventures in fashion are followed mostly by the Jersey crowd.
08:39 AM on 10/22/2011
LMAO......Manhattan is too cool, not pedestrian.
